Many parishioners from St. Joseph Church took part in an hour long prayer vigil at the intersection of Harkrider and Oak Streets on October 2nd . It was done as part of Respect for Life Sunday, which began the annual nationwide campaign to witness to what the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops calls “the inherent equality and transcendent value of every human being.”
